A dedicated 64-bit laptop with 16GB RAM, a 256GB SSD and at least 100GB free.
This is Reduzer’s minimum for online study. The laptop must run a current version of Windows 11, macOS or 64-bit Linux and allow development-tool installation.
Learn from your own workspace, with scheduled online sessions, project work and instructor feedback.
You can start as a beginner. Online students follow the same curriculum and assessments as students at our Kisii campus.
Admissions checks your laptop, connection and workspace. You can apply while arranging your setup, but it must be ready before onboarding.

At least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload from your normal study location.
The connection must also remain stable during video calls, screen sharing and project uploads. A ready backup should use a different provider where practical.
At least four hours of backup for the laptop and internet equipment.
You may instead have a reliable alternative study location that you can use promptly during a longer outage.
A working camera, microphone and headphones, plus a stable place to study.
KSh 10,000 per month
12 monthly payments, totalling KSh 120,000.
Tuition includes instruction, learning platform access, assessments, reviews and student support. Your first payment confirms your seat and counts towards tuition.
Budget separately for your laptop, internet, power backup, workspace and living costs.

An interview and practical assessment help us understand your starting point in computer use, reading a brief, numeracy and explaining your thinking. The results guide support and preparation.
We check the actual laptop, internet, power and workspace before making a conditional offer.
Camera use is required for scheduled teaching, reviews, assessments and teamwork. Independent work does not require continuous video attendance.
Work needs to fit outside programme hours. Daytime employment conflicts with classes and project work.
The institute is not currently TVET accredited. The current software development programme is non-accredited skills training. It does not award a diploma or any TVET qualification.
You have a weekly individual meeting with an instructor, feedback on your projects and help during practical sessions. Before classes begin, we help you set up the learning tools.
